Tak post lagi entri pasal Flash Mob for Palestine last Sunday, bakal post nanti insyaAllah. :)

Dan sekarang tengah semangat-semangat untuk ini. Heeee ;)

Tapi semangat and harapan terluntur sikit apabila banyak ajakan kepada kawan-kawan ditolak. Sedih bila diajak dan ditolak. Rasa semangat berkurangan. Perlu ramai orang untuk bersama. :|

Tidak, Nadiahbs !
Kena semangat ! Semangat !

Jangan tensi, jangan sedih.

Hijabi Inside and Out

Assalamualaikum.

Okay, after on a long hiatus of non-photos-all-words entries, I feel delighted to post a factual-and-mind-thinking one today ! This post might be a very long one, if you are in a rush, close the tab now and find another time to read this entry because this is a very important reminder to all of us, especially to my own self whom always slip out of the right path of the true definition of Hijab. What I try to convey about my title on Hijabi Inside and Out is the definition of hijab as a whole and the real functions of Hijab itself.

Wait.

Just.
A friendly reminder before you guys start reading this entry :

I am not a pro in this kind of stuff, but my intention is just to express my opinions and feelings and now, I'm in the trial of becoming a better Muslimah. Alhamdulillah, Allah has touched my heart to start taking Islam as a serious matter and put Him on the top priority of my everyday life. Frankly speaking, I have lots of flaws ( LOADS ) and still in the learning process to expose myself more on Islam. As jahil as I am right now yet I'm trying to improve myself in order to become the woman with respect, intelligence and full of Iman. InsyaAllah. So, I really hope no one start being judgemental and judging me with what I am about to write, with my personal life and appearance. As I said earlier, I'm in the state of improving myself ( in covering aurah matters-for a start ) and please, bear in mind that I am not really a knowledgeable person in this kind of aspects. Thank you. :)

Okay.

Some people might said that wearing a Hijab is just a piece of cloth covering our heads, our hair, our necks from being seen to those non-mahrams. Well, the fact is IT IS NOT.

HIJAB IS NOT JUST A PIECE OF CLOTH.
NOT JUST TO COVER UP OUR HEADS, OUR HAIR, OUR NECK.

IT SYMBOLIZES MUSLIM WOMEN.
WOMEN WHO RESPECT ALLAH AS THEIR ONLY GOD.
WOMEN WHO FOLLOW THE QURAN SAYINGS.
WOMEN WHO LIVE LIFE IN ISLAMIC WAYS.
WOMEN WHO NOT AFRAID TO SHOW THEIR FAITH.

And don't each of you guys want to feel the feelings of being blessed and protected by donning the Hijab?

Basically, hijab is a piece of cloth that we used to cover up our aurah ( the upper parts - in which mainly, hair ). But the real definition of hijab is covering up our aurah and control our manners in the sense of acting like a real Muslim. Most of the people in this era, misunderstood on the purposes of wearing the hijab. There's always be a misconception on what the real functions of women wearing the hijabs. Me, myself also always be in this situation where there are just something that are not clearly defined or exposed and I ended up wearing the hijab ( as only a cloth to cover my hair ) instead of the REAL HIJAB as what have be written in the Quran and Hadith. But then, I started to realize the important of the 'piece of cloth' that I always don on my head and it was like giving me a big fat slap and a wake up call.

"Do I wear the hijab just to cover my hair? my neck?"
"Or do I wear the hijab just to pleased my parents in order to become an obedient child?"
"Or do I wear the hijab because all of my friends wear one?"
"Or do I wear the hijab because it is the in-trend now?"

Those questions sometimes do popped out in my mind, and I'm pretty sure that some people out there also have had the same questions keep on popping in their minds but without any answer.

Well.
We wear the hijabs because Allah has told us to do so.
We wear the hijabs because it is crucial to cover up our Aurah.
We wear the hijabs because we wanted to be listed as one of the residents of Jannah.

SIMPLE.
MAIN POINTS : BECAUSE OF ALLAH. FOR ALLAH, OUR CREATOR.

Surah Al-Ahzab ; 59

Hijabis should portray the good manners as a Muslim. Islam teaches us to act good in every single thing that we do. Be it in the public, or even when we're alone. That's what makes the one wearing the hijabs, hijabis.

'People who wears the hijabs, but with zero attitude shouldn't be called as Hijabis.'

It is quite offensive to burst that statement out like that. Well, truth is TRUTH. No one can deny it. It just the matter of letting the hearts and minds to accept the real truth that people always try to avoid.

I had once read this one blog of a non-hijabi Muslim girl who condemned and said bad things about those 'Hijabis'. Well, what she was trying to say and convey are true and factual. She uploaded some photos of people wearing the hijab in the wrong way as in exposing the chests and butts, and wearing tight and see-through clothes. She tried to say that although she didn't wear the hijab ( yet ), she still know the rules and obligations of covering up the Aurah. But the way she wrote to describe those girls are just too rude and very offensive. She used the harsh words and in the end, no one gets any benefits. Neither her or those girls she wrote about. She do has some points to make, but the way of giving out her opinions is just so wrong. She knows, she should wear the hijab but she didn't ( I don't know why ). And she tried to somehow preach ( kinda ) the Hijabis who wear inappropriately but instead she gave like public humiliations to that persons although she did edit the photos so that the faces wouldn't be exposed ( Well, only the eyes that were covered actually - not really helping though ).

In the end,
Who wins? No one.
Who gets the benefits? No one.

There's always a way to preach people towards becoming a better Muslimah. Not with anger. And obviously, not with harsh words and humiliations. Sarcasms can sometimes be offensive though it really helps in preaching other Muslims because there are like "serious jokes" that often makes people reflect and look back through themselves. It's like indirectly giving advises to people.

Say.
Tell.
Preach.
Advise.
IN A PROPER WAY.

That's the best thing to do as people will not feel burden and being forced to do the good deeds.

In this way, more and more people will start to wear the hijabs and to those who already wear them, will start covering it appropriately. :)

And, now.
Who wins?
Who gets the benefits?

All individuals !
Both advisers/preachers and Hijabis !

ON A SECOND THOUGHT....

Wear a Hijab, and you cannot be fashionable?

Huh?
Who said so?

I, myself love fashions. But wearing a hijab doesn't restrict me from being fashionable. I admit that most of my clothes are quite tight and exposed some parts that should been covered, but as I told earlier, I'm in the trial of becoming a better muslimah. So, I will gradually taking a step further away from all those tight clothes, to a more loose ones. :) *But I'm practically broke now, need some money to buy new appropriate clothes hihi*

Here's some photos I took from the internet. ( Celebrities and bloggers )

SubhannAllah, look how beautiful they are all dressing-up up to the fashion trends but still covering their aurah. Thumbs up ! :)

There is no wrong in being beautiful because Allah himself loves beauty. It is just the way we're making ourselves look beautiful is sometimes wrong. And as for that, always remember to PUT ISLAM BEFORE FASHION. We as women surely want to feel and look pretty but one thing for sure, don't be over the limits. Be fashionable, but with appropriate clothes on ;)

Oh and for the shawls, tudung, headscarves or any cloth that cover your upper part, make sure you wear them in a right way.

For the hands and arms ;

For the chests ;

And for the butts ;

Yes, be up-to-date, in trends and stuff ( it's not wrong ), but the fact is MODESTY is always the best choice. Being and promoting modesty is what Islam keep on teaching and nurturing us with.

Just be fashionable, but make it looks modest and just-nice.
And yes, I'm working on it too. :)

Thanks for reading the whole lengthy of entry. Hopefully, both me and you will start taking serious on this matter. May Allah leads us to the right path and bless us throughout our journey, InsyaAllah.

I ain't good, I just care.

19-year-old blogger.

Assalamualaikum.
Hi there.

Woah, my last post was on January 4th. Means, more than two weeks since I last updated my blog. Yes, that was a solid proof that I've been REALLY BUSY these days. two weeks without proper sleeping pattern and a nice rest. Alhamdulillah, I got a week of Chinese New Year holidays. at least I can qodha all my sleeps and have a real good long rest. Well actually I still have loadssss of works to do though it's holiday. Some work on HACC thingy and non-stop assignments that keep on bugging me. anyways, that's what I have to pay for being an A-level student isn't it? So, there's no need for me to keep on complaining about that. Okay, stop ranting.

Well, being me who is already friggin' busy but still couldnt stop letting other things to come in my way, I signed up for tutoring the Koreans ! yes, I may sounds surprisingly excited to you guys about this because as you all know, I am never a fan of K-pop. But, well they are not Korean artists and stuff, so yeah, I'm excited for that haha. actually, I wasnt planning on signing up for this thing but Najwa and Syaz kept on asking, and yeah thanks to them. I really enjoy getting along and mingle with Hyung Min. Oh yes, Cho Hyung Min is the name of our new friend :) He's 25 by Korean age, and 24 if counted by year. sounds confusing? okay. he was born on 1988, but he said that in Korea, a freshly born baby ( haha sounds weird ) is counted as 1 year old instead of 1 day old like how Malaysians counted. So that means, I am 20 if I follow Koreans counting !

And that's Hyung Min ! He's tall and an athlete too ! He run marathon for 10km only within 56 minutes. how surprisingly fast ! Dasyat ! We were literally jaw-dropped when he told us about that.

Oh, we supposed to tutor him English, well not really tutoring, ( tutor sounds so formal ) we just mingle and chat in English. He had quite a hard time to talk in English with us because he knows simple words only. He was so cute when he making faces if he didnt know the words that he wanted to say in English. We used hand-gestures a lot ! I really had so much fun hanging out with him. We're going to bring him to Kuala Lumpur soon to show him some places and hang out together before he fly back to Korea on 5th February. Cant wait ! :) ( Yes I am excited to the max haha )

Okay, enough with that.
Let's proceed to other topic.

OH !
the reason why I was soooooooooo busy, and actually still am, is because of HACC. yes, Hiking and Camping club which I joined since 1st semester but only now I felt the busyness as I am one of the Hicom now ( Even those non-hicom are busy too. Two big events coming soon ). We were having meeting almost everyday and I'm tired of it. Well, actually all of us were tired of it. but what can we do, there's so many things to do in so little time. Starting from the Interview for New Members ( 2 days ), Pra-Orientation for New Members, our underground activities to Broga Hill and Sg Tekala and which we then went to KL for some hiking shopping, and soon.... Orientation at Bukit Kutu and Annual Grand Dinner (AGD). Oh and the theme for AGD is International Culture. I already have something on my mind on what to wear that night, heee :) just wait and see. *winkwink*

For the picture of all HACC's activities for the last two weeks, I'll post 'em in another entry. :)

Oh one more thing, about my 19th birthday ! I'll talked about it later. Still havent got photos from my friends yet. once I have those pictures, I'll straightly update on that ! :D

Turrah !

A-Level ; Semester 2

First day of college for semester 2 was okay. We got our Biology and Statistics final exam marks. :|

Yes, straight face means I didnt get good marks. Statistics's quite okay but the marks need to combine with core math's marks to get the real mark for my mathematics subject. hoping that my core math would give me a big banana smile on my face. *pray*

Anyway, I'm just looking forward for a better and fun semester. Hope that I can still keep on track for every subjects. InsyaAllah.

Going for a jog at the park ! Turrah ! ;)

Two Thousand Eleven.

Hey. 2011 is coming to an end. Another year flew away, hope that's gonna make us into a more mature and useful person for our own selves, families, friends and the world. ecehh.

Two more days before we hit 2012. What have we done throughout the year of 2011. Something beneficial, or just another wasted year?

Well, let see. As for me, it was quite a beneficial one, and great too. though there were still some unwanted sad pathetic things happened to me several times.

Let's do some review on 2011, babeehh ! ( Oh and the pictures I uploaded untuk event yg I tak mention okay? )

January ;

Still in the freedom of SPM mood. Being a couch potato most of the times. And I love every bitsof 'em. my mind and body were a complete wasted that time, but wth there's nothing to do since high school is over, so yeah couch potato I was. Oh, I turned 18 on January 16th. Yes, saya "kaklong" untuk anda-anda semua. eceehh haha. Oh time ni, my "boyfriend" got accepted to Universiti Teknologi Petronas for early intake. Yelah, orang hebat kan, guna result trial. Eh?Tapi kenapa ada tanda ---> "boyfriend". tungguuuuu.

And I went for Final Program Cabaran Angkasawan ! I was one of the finalist. Woot woot ! Heee. And that was pretty much a good start for a new year, isn't it? Kenangan hebat-hebat belaka sepanjang program tu. Walaupun semua finalist beza umur pun banyak juga ( the youngest was 17 and the oldest was 34 if I'm nt mistaken ). Best gila. I was so inspired and motivated. Oh, and Dr. Faiz Khaleed is a great man. Tak sangka he is so friendly ! He was with us all the time during the program. The prize was a trip to Starcity Moscow, Russia but I didnt win it. Tapi takpe, dah dapat masuk pun dah happy gila kot ! :)

From KL to Langkawi

My new family ! YAM - Yayasan Angkasawan Malaysia

February ;

A happy ending of January 2011, but I could say ( at that time lah kan ) A sad starting of February 2011 ( Okay, lebih kepada emo actually LOL ). Sebaaabbbbbb, I broke up on February 9th. So, sebab tu lah, kat review January tu, ada tanda "boyfriend" tu haha. Sebab apparently, now EX sudah. That time memang emo lah kan ( well who dont when they break up? ) tapi I moved on. Sekarang hati, jiwa, badan, segalanya SIHAT WALAFIAT ! Alhamdulillah.

Rasanya itu je kot yang I ingat for February haha. Oh oh, I think I started working with my dad on this month. :)

February ni to me, lebih kepada 'Moving On Phase' lah. Eceehh.

March ;

I tak ingat lah what happened on this month. Hmmm.

Eh wait !!

SPM RESULT lah weyy ! :D

Alhamdulillah, I got 9A's. Never expected that. Most of my teachers pun terkejut kot. Yelah I was such a lazy ass and ALWAYS sleep in the class. Not to mention all the BIG RED F on most of my core subject. Sumpah happy gila time tu sebab I ni kiranya bukan lah dalam golongan "target straight A's". Serious. Tapi Alhamdulillah again and always. All my efforts paid off. Nasib baik I got 16% for my add math on April test ( Oppss, secret revealed. :| ), kalau tak, memang takdenya lah nak sedar diri, wake up call bagai.

Jom Heboh concert at Terengganu with basketball players.

Basketball reunion

April ;

Time terpalsung-busy-gilsangam lah kan for high school leavers. Yelah, time ni lah semua dok sebok nak apply itu ini. My mom was the busiest of all kot haha. Suruh I apply for all sorts of scholarship. Name it, JPA, Petronas, Khazanah, TNB, Yayasan Pahang terengganu semua lah haha. Okay, nak apply pun berdebar gila okay. Sebab for JPA and Mara tu, have to choose either one. ONE only. So, resah gelisah lah. sebab ramai suruh apply for Mara. Tapi I takut sebab usually Mara akan lebihkan tu budak MRSM kan. Lepas istikarah ( which I hoped I dream about which scholar I click on the website ) tapi tak dapat petunjuk through mimpi. Maybe Allah kasi petunjuk ikut berat hati ke mana, or whatever we called it, So, hati ku ini berat ke JPA ! :D Applied lah for JPA

The best night ever - Sleepover with 54Fs at MS Garden Hotel. Husna's dad treat ! Sebab semua54F got straight A's. Alhamdulillah ;)

Iqa and I went to KL. met up bangsawans and the boys.
May ;

Berdebar pulak tunggu result for every scholarship yang di-applied. Alhamdulillah, once again, I got offered for interview by JPA, Yayasan Terengganu, Yayasan Pahang, Petronas ( for UTP intake ) and tk ingat lah apa lagi, ke takde dah. *shrug* Semua pergi kecuali yang untuk course selain Medic haha. Memang dah tau tak nak pun engineering, tapi my mom still suruh apply -.-so apply jelah, tapi tak pergi pun interview. Hati tak memilih pyhsics sangat. heee.

Husna's coming to town ! Great moments with the 54Fs ;)

Beach time, with my girlss. heee

Shima's coming to town ! Bangsawans hangout.

June ;

Tak ingat apa jadi pada June. Sorry. Oh pasal result interview pun not sure whether got on Mayor June. Just assumed June sebab I have nothing to write in this column. Alhamdulillah, God Al Mighty, dapat semua interview yang I attended. JPA to India, Yayasan Pahang to Mesir and Yayasan Terengganu to Russia.

Okay. Memang 2 3 bulan penat jantung berdebar, sakit otak mengerah keputusan. I was in dilemma. Yelah tk tau nak pilih mana. Mesir and Russia kena preparation 3 bulan je and off to the destination, and India pulak 2 freaking long years of preparation and baru fly ke India. Memang nyum nyum lah kan Mesir and Russia sebab cepat fly. Tapi after considering all aspects and dengar few nasihats from orangsss, doctorsss, friendsss. India it is ! :DD

Went to Australia for 2 weeks ! ( Brisbane & Gold Coast )

July ;

Registered for college, INTEC. Doing my 2 years A-level there. Orientation was fun. INPRO was super fun. My bestfriend, Husna was in the same college too ! Took MEPS, going to Jordan. Memang kalau ada masa je, mesti lepak dengan dia.

Participated in Basketball match - INPRO ( 2nd place ! )

INPRO closing ceremony - A-Level won !

Participated in Frisbee - INPRO ( 2nd place jugak )

The day I showed to Husna my so-called crush haha. - Food Festival.

August ;

I started to feel the stress burying me deep down the ground sebab they ( the people in the college ) are all genius to the max! And untuk I yang so-so ini, terasa sangat rendah darjatnya. Serious :( Dengan sedihnya, Ogos adalah bulan terakhir kami together-gether di INTEC. She off to Jordan few days after Aidliftri. How sad. Tapi rasa sangat bermakna lah sebab time or detik-detik terakhir bersama ( eceh so lovey dover cheesy meesy ) banyak benda lah kitorang spent masa together. ( okay tk faham dh ayat -.- ) yelah, kami pergi berjalan mencari baju raya together, men-visit ex-boyfriendnya di hospital together, bukak puasa together, and banyak lah together-nya :D Miss you anak Gapor ! <3

Break-fasting with my bestie and her MEPS friends.

Break-fasting with ze classmates !

Break-fasting with ze ex-Sesterians

Our happened-to-be Annual Sleepover at Tiya's ! ;)

September ;

College jelah, apa lagi. Oh time ini memang saya berdikari sekali lah ! Sebab I was quite alone at that time. Kat INTEC memang lah ada classmates nak pergi lunch library apa semua. tapi kat Akasia not really. Especially weekend. Memang I tapau makanan makan dalam bilik sorang2 jelah selalu haha. foreveralone as what Afiqah usually said. Tapi nasib lah ada rakan SMART ku sekalian. Terubat sikit ke-sunyian di hati. ecehh.

October ;

Kurang dah detik-detik foreveralone haha. Rakan SMART sentiasa di sisi. ;)
Oh time ni dah stressed out pasal carry marks rendah lah apa lah. And final pun dah dekat ! Routine harian ---> Siang : Pegi INTEC for classes. Malam : Pegi studyroom for absorbing-facts-and-brain-tortured sessions HAHA

Wall climbing at Extreme Park Seksyen 13 with the Akasias and Cemaras.

Malam Sayembara. Tapi kami buat persembahan atas jalan je haha.

Malam Ko-PLN. Hebat kembar Syaza menyanyi. Suara buat I cair haha.

Crazy moments with classmates !

November ;

Final exams. Finish. I lepokzzz je memanjang. Issue report? HAHA sebulan lagi ada. Chillex bro !
Rasa macam baru habis SPM pun ada time ni. Heaven, I tell you.

December ;

I iz so into One Tree Hill. I iz watching every night. I haz no life hahahaha.
Issue report? Oh ya. Seminggu lagi nak register baru gatal nak buat. Yes, and now still working on it. Naiss =='

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sorry entry ni terlalu panjang, beyong my expectation. Ingat nak tulis sikit-sikit sahaja. Tapi mana nak cram 365 hari dengan 1 entri yang pendek kan? Waahh bila post entri ni baru perasan that my 2011 is SUPER DUPER FUN !

Okay.

2011 saya penuh suka duka, gelak tawa, sedih hiba. But that what makes me more stronger than before.

So, how about you? Apa 2011 dah buat pada diri anda?

Tuesday, December 27, 2011

Our dads were bestfriends.

Hang out with Iqa todayyy ! :D
Watched Songlap and had 7 cheesy bites pizza for our lunch. Oh, and Baskin Robbin's ice-cream for dessert.

Looking at this photo makes me realised how chubby I have become all this while. Bulat gila muka okay. No wonder Yana selalu cakap yang my face bulat bulat :O haha.

Oh, and bought a pair of Vincci flat shoes for Iqa ! Birthday present. Actually, tak planned pun. Nak habiskan my RM10 Padini voucher tadi. I wanted to buy for myself sebenarnya, but then terfikir macam dah banyak sangat dah kasut kat rumah, so I still wanted to buy it. So, I just bought it for Iqa haha. And, it was so cheaappp ! Berbaloi ! :D

( Oh, upload kecik sikit gambar dia HAHA, feels weird muka dia terpampang besar kat entri ni. heee )

While having those long girl's talk and gossip, terserempak pulak dengan Kisshen. Our SESTER senior. Well, I used to called him, "Anne", ( abang in Tamil ). We were so closed those days. Then, dia joined borak sampai kitorang balik.

It feels so relieved to have this girls day out, even though only two of us hanging out together. Rindu gila nak borak and lepak with my girls. Hmmm.

Hope bila balik Shah Alam nanti, can meet up with my 54Fs and Bangsawans. Ronggeng around KL like we used to ;)
